By accessing or using FreeBOLs.com (the “Service,” operated by “FreeBOLs,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FreeBOLs.com lets you create a printable Bill of Lading from information you enter, customize it with your own branding, and save or print it as a PDF. Your branding settings are stored in your browser. When you generate a document, the data you entered is saved by the operator as described in the Privacy Policy. The Service is provided free of charge except for any features we may expressly offer for a fee.
A Bill of Lading is a commercial and legal document. The template provided is generic and may not be appropriate for your transaction, cargo, carrier agreement, or jurisdiction. FreeBOLs.com does not provide legal, regulatory, logistics, or other professional advice. You are responsible for ensuring any document you generate is accurate and complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and contracts (including, where relevant, carrier, broker, and shipper agreements and transportation regulations). Consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
You agree not to: use the Service in violation of any law; upload malicious code or infringing content; attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its endpoints; or misuse the submission/capture function to submit junk or harmful data. We may restrict or terminate access for any misuse.
The Service itself — including its software, design, and content (excluding your own data and branding) — is owned by FreeBOLs and protected by applicable laws. You retain all rights to the content you enter and to documents you generate. You grant us a limited license to process your submitted content solely to operate and provide the Service.
The Service and any documents it generates are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that documents generated will be accurate, complete, valid, or fit for any purpose, or that data will not be lost. You use the Service and any output at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeBOLs and its operators, owners, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, cargo, or business, or for any regulatory fines or penalties, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, any document it generates, any errors or omissions in such documents, or our handling of submitted data — whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), or the amount you paid us to use the Service in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FreeBOLs and its operators, owners, and providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, any document you generate, any content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Vercel for hosting, Google for storage of submitted records, and Google Fonts). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or policies of these providers.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes take effect when posted with a revised “Last updated” date; your continued use after that constitutes acceptance. We do not guarantee the Service will remain available.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
